Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of registering during the Early Registration period?

If you register during the Early Registration period, your Delegate Fees will be $10 less per delegate, $55 instead of $65. See our fees and deadlines for more information.

Does HenMUN provide schools with financial assistance?

On a case-by-case basis, yes!  If your school is in need of financial assistance, visit your advisor portal and submit the financial assistance form.  Shortly thereafter, the Secretariat will make a decision and inform your school of the aid package if deemed eligible.

How does HenMUN assign countries?

We assign our countries holistically.  We, as a staff, look at everything on your application to ensure the fairest possible country assignments.  We try to make sure that each school receives at least one of their top choices.

What is the deal with midnight crises?

Shh, it’s a secret!  While we will not release which committees will be having midnight crises, we will tell you that your school must be staying at a hotel to receive seats on a committee which will.  If you choose to commute though, have no fear, for you will receive the equivalent number of seats (if requested) on the crisis committees which will not be having midnight crises.

Are laptops allowed at HenMUN?

In order to avoid having any pre-written resolutions at HenMUN, laptops will NOT be allowed to be used during committee sessions.  They may be used during caucusing in between sessions. Laptops are not allowed at any time in our crisis committees.

So, why HenMUN?

In short, HenMUN provides delegates with a committee experience like no other. Our combination of realism, professionalism, and enthusiasm will give delegates a weekend they will remember. Our unique social events also provide delegates and advisors with a one-of-a-kind experience. The all on-campus atmosphere provides students with the chance to visit a beautiful university during a beautiful time of year.  With that said, we hope to see you at HenMUN VIII in March of 2020!
